

Kids are primarily emotional and experiential, not rational. If adults live in their heads, kids live in their hearts.

Before Next Time…
Remember, your child is not rational, and they primarily use the emotional and experiential side of their brain to process all information until about age 13. They can not think through their actions and consequences like adults can.
Next time you find yourself expecting your child to think and respond like you would, remind yourself, “This is not a runner.”
