Karen is a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana and a play therapist.  Karen exclusively sees children (ages 4-12, as new clients) and specializes in child-centered play therapy.

In 2004, she graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL, with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology.  Since then she has worked with many children and families facing various difficulties, including trauma, divorce, foster care, adoption, grief, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, behavioral, and relational challenges.

Karen considers a parent’s engagement and involvement in the therapy process essential to achieving the best results for the child.  She works alongside parents, equipping them with perspectives and skills that support their child and the family’s growth. As a mother of four, Karen understands that every parent is a lifelong learner and shouldn’t have to navigate parenting alone.

With a deep and personal faith in Jesus Christ, Karen’s desire to provide gospel hope drives her work.  Parents seeking Christian counseling will receive intentional help in their parenting approach with a biblical worldview.
